Solar heating is used for two main reasons for the house to generate electricity and to heat water.
Electricity
The process of generating electricity from solar radiation is the use of a photovoltaic system. This system of solar cells consist of two layers of semi-conductors. Light falling on the semiconductor generates a flow of electricity used to power the house.
